Workshop 002—Book Binding

During our first online workshop, we were introduced to two uncommon/experimental bookbinding techniques: the flag-fold and the accordion.

A scrappy flag-fold book just trying out the form.

Don’t really know what to put in it, however, led me to think about the physical aspects of this format. The spacing between flags, the dynamic movement as one tries to navigate the book. I think it could be used to show a change over time or a conversation that has a ‘flip side’.
